A little math problem:  

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.  

So Jesus = Truth.  

The truth will set you free.  If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.  

So Jesus = Freedom.  

Therefore "freedom" from God = freedom minus freedom = 0 freedom.  

I'll take Jesus and keep my freedom.  :)

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. ... So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."  John 8:31-32, 36
